By Lady, the Cavalier King Charles dog star of the ‘King’s Life children’s travel adventure series

Every day, I run to the mailbox as fast as my short legs can go. I open the mailbox. I peer inside. Sigh. No invitation. My tail droops to half-mast. But, like a good Cavalier, I’m not giving up!

If you’ve been following my blog, you know that I’m hoping for an invitation to The Phoenician’s famous Thanksgiving Brunch, as well as the book signing for its new kids’ offering, Discover The Phoenician with Phoe-Phoe & Friends. I’ve heard The Phoenician’s Thanksgiving feast is four paws up (the equivalent of Five Stars)! Plus, I really want to meet all the children that will take this charming book home (please see ‘pawprint’ below).

So, I keep wishing for an official invite – and I think they’re getting the message; they’ve been posting my blog on The Phoenician’s Facebook page! I’m so flattered! And, so very hopeful.

There’s so much to love about The Phoenician; it’s my home away from home. One of the best things about it is that everybody knows my name. They never forget me, and I’ve made lots of new friends. The resort is the epitome of elegance, but don’t let its formal good looks throw you. Everything about this resort is warm and welcoming. So, come for a visit soon! Hope to see you there.

dog-paw-print-tattoo-149In the interest of transparency, my mom and dad wrote and illustrated ‘Discover The Phoenician with Phoe-Phoe & Friends.’ Plus, they give me free room and board. Nevertheless, empirically speaking, the book is charming.
